Gee Family SURF Poster Competition

The Gee Family SURF Poster Competition was endowed by John Gee (BS ‘56 Mechanical Engineering) and Barbara Gee with the intent of encouraging and supporting excellence in effective scientific poster presentations. Judging of the poster presentations is focused on the excellence of the poster presentation, and not on the significance of the research results produced.

Students presenting posters as a part of this competition are encouraged to learn how to present highly technical information to a general, yet educated, audience. Posters are judged on content, visual organization, and verbal presentation.

We invite members of the Caltech campus community to join us for the 2025 Gee Family SURF Poster Competition, happening on Wednesday, November 12th from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the San Pasqual Walk.

The 2025 Gee Finalists, along with their mentors, are:
