Sulekha is a senior studying Computer Science and Political Science. Sulekha grew up in the Pasadena area but still loves exploring Los Angeles. From captaining the Caltech ultimate frisbee to (actual) surfing, in her free-time she loves spending time outside. She leads the Caltech Science Olympiad Planning Team and loves organizing events for the Caltech Y. Sulekha has completed two SURFS – one with Prof. Mansi Kasliwal, working on a pipeline to efficiently process and visualize data for a telescope at Palomar Observatory and a second with Professor Soon-Jo Chung, working on a computer vision model for satellites. She recommends attending seminars and talks throughout the year to learn about research happening on campus and guide your SURF search.
