Sujay Champati - Fleming House
Profile
Applied & Computational Mathematics
Pleasanton, CA
Sujay has always been inspired by the skies. The seemingly infinite universe has served as the basis of his research in theoretical astrophysics for the past three years, the moon and stars are the inspiration for his first works of poetry, and looking faithfully towards the heavens has illuminated his path in the darkest of moments. Last year, he did a SURF at JPL, in the Origin of the Universe group. His terrestrial activities include singing, eating, playing tennis, and studying film history. His most important piece of advice when finding a SURF: "Always keep an open mind. Science is inherently interdisciplinary, and when unwinding the web of reality, seemingly disparate strands may meet in unexpected places."
