Being from Miami, Perry has spent a lot of time out on the water. As such, he really enjoys water sports such as (actual) surfing, sailing, scuba diving, etc. He is also an avid fan of Formula 1 racing and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. His favorite animal is the sea turtle, and some of his other hobbies include playing the guitar, photography, cooking, and rock climbing! Perry has completed two SURFs since moving to Pasadena: one with Professor Guillaume Blanquart and another with Professor Chiara Daraio. "I would say that patience and perseverance are very important when it comes to finding a SURF," Perry advises. "Sometimes you have to wait quite a while for responses and/or be willing to send follow-ups to demonstrate continued interest."
