Nachiket is a senior majoring in Physics. In his free time, he enjoys watching films and playing various racket sports (including tennis, squash, and badminton). Being from the UK, Nachiket loves capitalizing on the year-round sunny and warm weather of Pasadena by spending time outdoors and going on hikes. He has completed three SURFs: the first was with Professor Maria Spiropulu in the Caltech Precision Timing Lab, the second with Professor Nick Hutzler, and his most recent SURF was off-campus, with Professor Norman Yao at Harvard. "The various aspects of scientific writing involved in the SURF process are very valuable", Nachiket reflects. "The research proposal, various reports, and the final presentation have allowed me to improve my scientific communication skills and become a more effective scientist."
