Michael, who did a SURF in 2022, has conducted research in combinatorial geometry and external graph theory. At Caltech, Michael serves on the PMA Advisory Board, is a member of the Math Club, Tango Club, and Prank Club, and works as the Head Waiter for Avery House. In his free time, Michael likes to play the guitar and write songs. He also enjoys reading philosophy. "It's never too early to start your SURF search," he advises! "I hope to help my peers find research opportunities and continue Caltech's tradition of conducting strong undergraduate research."
