Michael, who did a SURF in 2022, has conducted research in combinatorial geometry and external graph theory. At Caltech, Michael served on the PMA Advisory Board and as a committee member of the Prank Club. In his free time, Michael likes to play the guitar and write songs. "It's never too early to start your SURF search," he advises! "I hope to help my peers find research opportunities and continue Caltech's tradition of conducting strong undergraduate research."
