As a local of Southern California, Luke has been involved with Caltech since his formative years in high school. He has done research with Professor Harry Gray and is now working in the research group of Professor Jonas Peters, where he has completed three SURFs and continues to do research during the academic year. In his spare time, Luke enjoys playing PC video games like Valorant, playing the trombone, and staying active with badminton. "Enthusiasm is key when it comes to finding a SURF and keeping research connections alive," Luke advises. "You'll feel great in your research environment if you are enthusiastic and enjoy your research, so take your time and choose a field that you think would be interesting to explore!"
