As a local of Southern California, Luke has been involved with Caltech since his formative years in high school. He has done research with Professor Harry Gray and is now in the research group of Professor Jonas Peters, where he has completed two SURFs. For fun, Luke enjoys playing video games like VALORANT, practicing the trombone, and staying active with badminton. "Enthusiasm is key when it comes to finding a SURF and keeping research connections alive," Luke advises. "You'll feel great in your research environment if you are enthusiastic and enjoy your research, so take your time and choose a field that you think would be interesting to explore!"
