Last summer, Cellie completed a SURF project with Professor Sunil Gowala. Cellie is involved in TechLIT, the Caltech Aerospace Club, and TACIT. She enjoy writing and loves to draw parallels from scientific concepts, such as relativity or quantum mechanics, to literary subjects like the constant hurdles of human lives and interactions. Cellie enjoys thought exercises and metaphors as much as she enjoys astrophysics. As a SFP Student Ambassador, Cellie hopes to help students in Dabney House, particularly first-years, navigate the SURF application process successfully. "Get started early," Cellie advises, "and talk to upperclassmen around you--they are more than happy to help!"
