Class of 2028 | Electrical Engineering

Benjamin claims both Virginia and Hawaii as home, with southern California to be added to that list soon. He loves the natural beauty of the area and is involved in outdoors events with the Caltech Y and the Caltech Alpine Club on campus. He is also active in the Caltech Christian Fellowship and Avery House. Benjamin is studying Electrical Engineering on the Quantum and Photonics track and completed a SURF in 2025 with the Quantum Photonics Group studying superconducting qubits. He is a firm believer in Caltech's promise that undergrads, even frosh with "no experience," have the opportunity to be involved in cutting edge research with Professors who are experts in their fields.
