Class of 2026 | Physics
Raised in Beijing and tempered by the Swiss Alps, Ania is a student of physics, coming to Caltech from French classrooms and intimate hutongs. Outside of math and physics, she enjoys playing piano, skiing, reading, and wandering in secluded towns. Ania has completed three SURFs: the first on leptoquark analysis with the CMS team at CERN, the second on functional analysis and Yang-Mills theory, and the third on Celestial Holography at Princeton. One piece of advice she has for summer research is to "truly understand the problem you are working on from the bottom up - let the roots of first principles feed your climb in learning."
